Go Yoon-jung as Park Yoo-ri, a senior caregiver who appears to have some training as a medical care professional. It is there where Hyun admits he is infected and is in the process of turning into a monster himself. This creates some distrust in the group, particularly with Jisu, but they learn to put aside the feeling and start bonding.

However, so much time has passed that he cannot remember their faces.
Cha Hyun-Su

People inside the apartment are trapped inside the building, realizing that monsters are lurking everywhere outside. Hyun-su and other residents shield themselves inside the building in the hope of surviving as long as they can. In his Clash at Demonhead review, inspired by Scott Pilgrim, he takes time out of his review to praise Edgar Wright for his direction of the film version, saying "You're three for three."

The impact of one kick alone nearly broke Hyun Cha's spine were it not for Hyun's regenerative ability. Wook Pyeon, being physically stronger than Hyun and having a shield, is able to block the kick and throw the monster away. Human Life
He manages to keep the emergency plan a secret from the gang. However, when Dusik hears a monster horde is overrunning the barricades, he agrees the plan should be put to action. Dusik offers to sacrifice himself to hold the monsters back and secretly reveals to Hyuk that he is infected.

Following the Tentacle Monster's attack, Hyun tries to reason with the Slime Monster, but his actions are pointless when Joon Shin has his gang incinerate the monster. Dusik simply just stands and observes Hyun talk with the Mysterious Man. However, when Hyun moves to attack the man, Dusik leaps and kicks Hyun in the back. Hyun then prepares to fight Dusik, but Dusik is tackled away by Wook Pyeon. The monster is able to charge at Wook and severely dents Wook's shield, but Wook activates its strobe and blinds the monster, allowing Wook to throw it away. Wook says a few parting words to Dusik before impaling and pinning Dusik to the floor, letting the flames in the burning basement consume him.

Cha Hyun is a reclusive high school student who spends his days holed up in his room playing video games. But when he loses his entire family in a tragic car accident, he is forced to leave his home and carefree lifestyle behind and move into a new apartment all by himself. However, his pesky neighbors and lack of money soon become the least of his worries as people around him suddenly begin turning into horrifying monsters, plunging the world into apocalyptic chaos. He tries to get in touch with his online friends and gets more information. He realizes that the friend he has been chatting with may live in the same apartment he does. He attempts to open a window to find the Eyeball Monster staring at him.
His Inner Monster attempts to turn him with the promise of more strength. Jisu, however, helped snap him back to his senses and encouraged him to fight on with his own power. Hyun takes advantage of the Tongue Monster's attack to stick its tongue on to Mr. Kim, draining Mr. Kim of its organs and letting the survivors incinerate the remains. After his family died his depression became worse and he decided to kill himself after testing a new video game he was selected to try. He moved to Green Home and spent most of his time playing online video games and eating ramen and other kind of fast foods. A month before September 2020, Cha Hyun-Su arrives at Green Home Mansion Apartment.
However, the two's opposing views on how to treat monsters cause an argument, and eventually a fight, when Ihyun discovers the Infant Monster, who has since turned into a cocoon. Despite all seeming lost, Hyun quickly heals and awakens while still being suspended in the air, gripped by his hoodie. Angered, he tells Joon to get his hands off of him; Joon maliciously complies by throwing Hyun across the roof into a corner, stunning him once more. After the monsters break down the door to Jisu's apartment, Hyun slams into the monsters and pins several of them to a wall before stabbing them and electrifying them. Although he is injured and one of the monsters wounded his arm, he continues on his monster killing spree. Wook, Myeong-II, and Hyuk manage to catch up to Hyun ad Jisu and help them kill the last of the monsters that were attacking them.
